"It was such a pleasure getting to do PT at Thrive! It's almost bittersweet, of course nobody wants to need physical therapy, but I legitimately enjoyed the visits and feel like I made great progress. A few years ago I had a different surgery and had a round of PT, but this was so much better. If I ever need PT again, I will certainly be back and would gladly recommend it to anyone." -Justin B.

“Thank you so much for your hard work and guidance with my knee. You are a very good Physical Therapist and very easy to understand and follow. Also, many thanks for the balance referrals.” - A. Tuthill

"I just wanted to say thanks for all the help and advice with my hip/glute/hamstrings this past winter. A few weeks ago I ran the Sawtooth Relay and it was great!" -K. Romito

"At a bit over 5 months, I am feeling more and more like myself, and enjoying my usual hiking and biking activities, and have started a dance class!" -J. Schlicht

Ali Lubbers PT, DPT

Treats patients:
Monday through Friday

Idaho PT license #:

Ali received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Montana in 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Montana in 2011. In 2016 Ali relocated from Newport, OR to Boise, ID to enjoy our city’s quality of life and access to the foothills trails. She has previous work experience in a private practice outpatient clinic that exposed her to a large variety of diagnoses and patient populations.

Ali loves treating movement dysfunction and helping people to address their mechanics resulting in a better quality of life. She especially enjoys working with patients with knee and hip conditions. She believes education on form and function is an integral part of treatment; if people understand how imbalances and faulty mechanics occur, they can be an active participant in their treatment.

Ali lives in North Boise with her fiance Will and can be found outdoors as often as possible. She enjoys backpacking, camping, gardening, hiking, swimming, and trying to bake. She is looking forward to biking in the foothills, floating the river, and exploring Idaho.
